Basic Research interest: physiology of animals, biochemical parameters, physiology of granulocytes, endogenous and egzogenous factors in animal organisms, activity of neutrophil granulocytes, zoonozes, vector-borne diseases of animals, animal welfare.

- haemathological and biochemical parameters in animals
- detection of vector-borne and other infectiuos diseases in animals by serologic methods (agglutination, ELISA, AGID, dark field microscopy);
- diagnostics of blood parasites (Knott test, blood smear)
- homeopathic treatment of animals
- main working interests: serological diagnostics of brucellosis, leptospirosis, Q fever, equine infectious anemia, neosporidiosis, toxoplasmosis, paratuberculosis, maedi-visna (CAEV), ruminant chlamidiosis
- involved in activities of National referent laboratory for Leptospirosis, Q fever, and Maedi-visna / CAEV
- determining the presence of animal proteins in food and pet food (origin of meat) – authenticity – by ELISA and real-time PCR
