Basic Research interest: 

– improving laboratory diagnostics of bacterial, mycological and parasitological diseases

of animals,

– monitoring the presence and spreading of antimicrobial resistance to microorganisms

– studying the sustainability of ecosystems.

 

Main working and research activities:

– Clinical and pathomorphological diagnostics of infectious and non-infectious diseases

of domestic and wild animals;

– Investigation of the influence of immunosuppressive agents on the occurrence of

clinically manifested infectious and non-infectious diseases;

– Monitoring the presence and spread of antimicrobial resistance to microorganisms and

the introduction of molecular methods in the detection of the resistance gene.

– Monitoring bee diseases and introducing molecular methods of diagnosis are some of

the causes of bee disease

– Monitoring and analysis of the presence of ecto and endo parasites of wild animals

– Analysing an environmental pollution

– Microbiological testing of surface water and water from wells and from farms
