SCOPE OF ACCREDITATION - PDF
Quality Management System and accreditation of the Institute for Laboratory Examination according to the demands of international standards was introduced and certified in 1998. The purpose was to demonstrate own abilities and fulfill expectations of the users and interested parties, in order to show quality of work and enable intern and extern parties to verify it.
In order to continually improve quality system and to follow changes in the field of international standards in this field, the leadership of the Institute decided to harmonize quality system according to process model and to accredit the Institute for Laboratory Examination according to new demands of international standards JUS ISO 9001:2001 and JUS ISO/IEC 17025:2001 and they were introduced in 2001.
Certification of quality system was introduced on 17 May 2002, and the Institute for Laboratory Examination was accredited on 18 December 2003.
For accomplished results in promoting quality system, the Institute received the “Golden Quality Crown” at the 15th International Quality Crown Award in London.
Today at the Institute Quality management system is successfully maintained according to the standard SRPS ISO 9001:2008 and the Laboratories within the Unit for laboratory examination are managed according to the standard SRPS ISO/IEC 17025:2006.
