Basic Research interest:

Bacteriology, resistance to antimicrobial agents and mechanisms of resistance, veterinary virology, food and environmental microbiology.

  • Main working and research activities:

Application of contemporary diagnostic methods in bacteriology, development and standardization of resistotyping procedures and detection of genes encoding resistance to antimicrobial agents. Research in the field of molecular epidemiology and mechanisms of resistance in bacteria. Research in the field of animal virology and development of diagnostic methods. Training of young researchers in laboratory work and designing research assignments.
